John Paul Sonnen is a native of St. Paul, MN. He is a history docent and tour director for St. Charles Pilgrimages. John studied at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, and also at The Angelicum in Rome. He lives with his wife and daughter in South Carolina.

About the Illustrator

Bill Tierney is a gifted artist who hand painted each of the illustrations. He has dedicated his life to maintaining the Assumption church.
