Synopsis
Join REGINA for an exclusive retreat “Quoniam Advesperascit/The Evening Draws Nigh” tailored for young adults (ages 18-35).
The retreat will be held at the stunning Fontgombault Abbey, located in the remote countryside of central France. For nearly 1,000 years monks have been living and praying here. You will live and experience Benedictine traditions and hospitality flourishing in this hidden place, positioned on the Creuse River and surrounded by forests and farmland.
Be prepared to be fully immersed in monastic life in the medieval footprint. Your day will include praying with the monks and hearing them sing Gregorian Chant for their daily sung Mass and Office. The monastery and grounds will be our home for seven unforgettable days as we gather together on retreat after the annual Chartres Pilgrimage (an optional and separate event — May 18-20).

$1250 USD for the land-only tour package
Please Note: airfare, travel insurance, and tips for the bus driver are not included and are additional cost.
Tips are 20 EURO per person (collected in cash by the Tour Director).
A $500 deposit is required at the time of registration.
The deadline for registration and final payment is March 1, 2024. Limited seating.
